01Install and pin

Add the extension from the download page, then pin it to the toolbar — that icon is where everything starts.

Click the puzzle icon at the top right, find Mossglen, light up the pin next to it.
The Mossglen icon in your toolbar means you are set. No browser restart needed.
A number badge on the icon means words are due for review today.

The target language decides what counts as a new word. Eight to choose from, switchable at any time.

On first open you pick a target language and roughly set your starting level.
Switching languages deletes nothing: word list, level and reading history are tracked per language.
Interface language is a separate setting, found under “My” inside the extension.

Click the toolbar icon on any page in your target language: ads and sidebars step aside, leaving the article.

Tap any word for its meaning and to save it; select a sentence for a translation in place.
Turn on narration to play sentence by sentence, with highlighting in step; adjust speed or replay a line.
Turn on side-by-side to show a translation under each paragraph, without leaving the page.

Saved words are scheduled by your forgetting curve and come back inside the sentence where you met them.

Reviews are all multiple choice: recognising the meaning is enough, no self-grading.
Right answers stretch the interval; wrong ones relearn on the spot and return tomorrow.
A word graduates once it holds a long enough interval, and stops taking review time.

Pip is the companion reading with you, and it answers with your reading history and word list in hand.

The full skeleton works without an account; once you log in, your data follows the account.

Guest words stay in local browser storage and merge into your account when you log in.
Log in on another device and your word list and review progress match.
The free tier caps full translation and AI questions; Pro lifts the caps and opens every voice.
